Fall Cozies
This week got to live a little through my friends who are world travelers. Olga just got back from a 3 and a 1/2 week trip to Russia, Emma just came back from Sweden and more, and Cydney just moved to Ireland for a year (though I do have a friend who planned on doing the same thing just in England and now she's married and living in Scotland so...).
I do love traveling and exploring and adventuring to new places, but I oddly feel no pangs of wanderlust at the present. It feels too cozy at home to leave. The rain has come back to Seattle and I got to wear my first scarf of the fall season today. I pulled out all my wool socks from my "winter things" suitcase and am currently sporting a pair of fluffy slippers. Hot chocolate, fuzzy blankets, and warm snuggles are all in my future.
So, I really can't think of a more pleasurable place to be than home. With all the leaves on the ivy vines changing colors and the soft drizzle of rainfall tinkling outside it's far too magical right here to dream of not here.
